Honorary Members
Honorary Membership is a distinguished title awarded by the Executive Committee of the Maldives Girl Guides Association. It is conferred upon prominent individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion and development of Girl Guiding in the Maldives. This recognition also extends to former Chief Commissioners in appreciation of their leadership and service.
While Honorary Members are not eligible to vote, they are warmly invited to attend the Association’s General Meetings and participate in its broader activities. However, the wearing of the official Girl Guides uniform is reserved for those Honorary Members who are also formally enrolled in the Association.
This honorary status is both a gesture of gratitude and a continuing bond between the Association and those who have supported its mission and values over the years.
