Safe Space for Members

The Maldives Girl Guides Association offers a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where all our members are respected, valued, and protected from harm, violence, and discrimination. This supportive, brave space is based on robust safeguarding practices, such as adult training, defined codes of conduct, and active listening to members. Each member is encouraged to develop at her own pace within a setting that appreciates diversity, promotes participation, and honors individual identities. We empower our members by embracing challenges, fostering lifelong learning, and inspiring confidence to express their authentic selves to develop to their fullest potential. In this space, all our members – girls and young women are not only secure but also recognized, heard, and celebrated.
