Environment Camp 2015

Environment Camp 2015 was was held in collaboration with Ministry of Environment and Energy, Soneva Fushi, Biosphere Reserve. Other partners include, Atoll council, Eydhafushi council, Parent Teacher Association of B. AEC, Maalhos Council and Sea Explorers. THe aim of the camp is to aware guides about the importance of their role to preserve the environment 

      CBee16 Jamboree 2015, New Zeland

5 Guides and 1 leaders participated in the Jamboree. It was an opportunity for participants to be independent and

spend time in a different environment. To learn important

life skills through fun activities All appriciation goes to New

Zeland Girl Guides for the wonderful opportunity.

Littlemaid Sixers Camp 2015

Sixer’s camp is an outdoor camp targeted for Littlemaid’s. A

total of 150 littlemaids and 50 leaders participated in the

camp. The theme for this year’s camp was Free Being Me.

Camp was held in Ghaazee school from 6 – 8 Dec 2015 

National patrol Leaders Camp 2015

National patrol Leaders Training camp is the largest national level camp held by MGGA. A total 0f 180 guides and leaders participated in this years camp which was held on the thme "Surf Smart" which aims to aware the emembers on internet safety. 

16 Days Activism

From 25 November, the International Day for the

Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December,

Human Rights Day, the 16 Days of Activism against

Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to galvanize

action to end violence against women and girls around the

world. The international campaign originated from the first

Women's Global Leadership Institute coordinated by the

Center for Women's Global Leadership in 1991

International Day of the Girl

Girl Guides of Maldives have been celebrating the day of the Girl Since 310e3.

Our objective is to advocate for girl’s rights and to pave a platform for the decision makers on existing barriers and challenges girls face due to stereotypes.to take part. 

THINKING DAY CELEBRATION

Girl Guides Singapore (GGS) has invited participants form international members to thier Be Prepared (BP) Quest 2015. It's a biennial event organized by the International Committee of GGS. 

In order to select two team to represent MGGA, we are conducting a BP Quest Maldives, after inviting all schools to take part.
